La Tour de l'Esquillon is an old hotel with a privileged location. The owner has been the same for several decades. He and his son run the place in a family manner as it used to be in the fifties. Every room is immaculately clean and with a spectacular view, but there is no air conditioning and in summer it can be a bit hot. There is no doubt that the location is what makes the place worthwhile. Most rooms have either round balconies or loggias which are enclosed square balconies. The hotel also has a private beach but not exactly in front of it, because the property is way above the sea shore... The beach is probably three hundred yards down from the hotel, there is free shuttle service. This beach is very peculiar because there is no sand, it is a platform built over the Esterel rock! It gives the feeling of being in sea water swimming pool which happens to be the whole Mediterranean sea! There’s even a ladder to go in and out of the water. This hotel also has two lovely apartments with the same privileged view, where every bedroom has a full bath. These two apartments are without doubt one of the best bargains to stay right on the French Riviera.

Airport:	Coté d'Azur International Airport - Nice (45 Kms.)

By car:	This hotel is located on the coastal road between Mandeliu (Cannes) and St. Raphael. If you are coming on the highway, direction east, get off at Mandeliu exit and head towards the beach. At the circle bear to the right and take the road to Theoule - Miramar, the hotel will be on the left hand side a few kilometers down. They have a nice parking lot across the street from the hotel.
