Located along the banks of the Dronne River, the Moulin de l'Abbaye, offer a
stay filled with history. The Dronne surrounds the medieval town. This "Venice
of Périgord" is actually an island. In front of you are the falls, the right-angled
bridge over the river, the monastery garden… Here the mill's wheel turns
unflaggingly. This romantic market town, the medieval city of Brantôme, once
home to the Abbé of the same name, author of "Tales of Fair and Gallant Ladies,"
