Le Manoir Saint Thomas was formerly a 12th century Priory, founded by Hugh 1st,
the Lord of Amboise.
The house has many old fireplaces in wood, stone and marble. In the old priory
all the windows have stained glass and there are winged dragons on the gables.
The 15th century turret is in the North-East corner of the Manor and on the
ceiling of the drawing room you can see the signature of one of the painters of
1887 - "Ripault". Le Manoir Saint Thomas stands in a garden of about 2.000
square meters at the heart of the town of Amboise. Relax in the shade of the
silver-leaved, hundred year old lime trees and admire the statue of
"Meditation", dating from about 1.800, which stands in the middle of the garden.
To the side of the garden is a graveled parking area where you can park your car
securely. Also, Le Manoir Saint Thomas offers the guests luxurious bedrooms,
very comfortable, each one different and all beautifully decorated.

By car:
Follow the
signs towards the Chateau Royal of
Amboise (the Castle). Pass the Castle on
your left. Take the first street on the
right (rue de la Tour) and go straight
on to the square. where you will see a
public car park on your left. Go into
the car park and then leave it to enter
the driveway of the Manoir Saint Thomas.
(In fact, the Manoir is on a one-way
street and you have to approach it via
the car park).

Bookings are considered firm when given a credit card number or
a 30% deposit of your sojourn.
In the event of an interrupted stay, if departure is notified 72
hours prior to the anticipated date of leaving, the hotel bill
will be the equivalent of one night as a compensation.
All reservations are keep until 6 pm. Please let us know if you
intend to arrive later than this hour.
Departure: Hotel bedrooms must be vacated before 12:00 pm.
Arrival: We will do everything possible to ensure that your
bedroom is ready as early as possible. However, this may not be
achievable before 3:30 pm.
