Le Mas de Peint, with its eight rooms
and three suites seems to have been built to promote hapiness: lazing by the
swimming-pool, riding on horseback or driving cross country to discover the wild
side of the 550 hectare property with bulls and horses.
Lucille and Jacques Bon, two nature lovers, invite you to share their passion
for the Camargue. Lucille Bon, an architect very aware of interiors, called in
her best brains to restore Le Mas de Peint.
Jacques Bon is one of those who has chosen to fight for the right to live in the
unchanged respect of the deep values inspired by the land. The eight spacious
rooms, in the main house, combine comfort and tradition. Here, ancient
furnitures, half-timbered and linen bed-sheets join with the last innovations of
the XXth century. Ultimate touch of refinement : the B logo (like Bon) is
embroidered on the sheets and pillowcases.
Lucille imagined for the rooms two harmonies which celebrate the style of the
region: pink Roussillon in the Nord, almong green in the South. Each room is
different: some have a "retro" bathroom (old fashioned bathtub on legs with
curtains), others have their bathroom on the mezzanine (with a staircase in the
room). To reach this haven of peace, follow a long avenue of sycamores and
oleanders, leading past rice fields and reeds. In the shade of this residence,
groves and shrubs invite you to enjoy the sweetness of life.
Once the vaulted door passed, the polished-stones entrance sets the tone; a
particular feature hotel, simple and delicate. Astonishingly fresh and welcoming
in summer, this ancient stable wears well the seat of La Manade. A unique place
which permits you to discover the Camargue in a carefree way. |
