The relaxed rythm of life of this charming hotel-restaurant occupying the ‘Donjon’,
a small 19th century Anglo-Norman style château set in a vast park full of
flowers and trees and a seaside villa built in the Belle Époque. The estate
includes a heated outdoor swimming pool open April to October, 5 guest
lounges, a library, a covered patio and two private car parks.
You can stay in the Villa with its ten rooms, each dedicated to a different,
prominent figure and decorated accordingly, down to the very last detail. Or in
the ‘Donjon’ whose eleven bedrooms were once used by many visitors, their
presence recalled by memorabilia completing the tasteful décor.
The Chef, Wilfrid Chaplain, proposes a gastronomy which is both Traditional and
Innovative. Herbs, seasonings, and mild spices for a harmony of Normandy with
the flavours of the Mediterranean, and a perfect balance of the five senses.
The world class Etretat golf course stands on the lower cliffs, opposite the
estate, 1 Km away, and the village, the sea, offering nice walks along the
cliffs or the harbour wall, are all 500 metres away. |
