Domaine de Valmouriane

Domaine de Valmouriane is an 18th century Provençal farmhouse, surrounded by a pine forest, vineyards and olive trees. Now it is a classic four star hotel. 12 rooms and two apartments are available, named after Provence's best loved writers. Light seems to fill every space, and the sunshine is also a clear inspiration for the delicious cuisine. You are offered a choice of traditional Provençal dishes or gourmet fare, and can dine out on the terrace. A gastronomic restaurant, "Le Saint Georges" displays its creations that are often renewed under the influence of their own inspiration, the seasons and the produce of the garden or market. All year round come and discover new ideas and a menu for each season, in fact, a new bistrot formula with menu changing every night is now at the guests disposal.
The hotel also has a bar, and the interiors feature period furniture throughout. The garden features Mediterranean plants, and the park is ideal for strolls through nature, admiring the view over the surrounding countryside. Close to the historic city of Avignon and not far from the southern coastline.
