Le Clos des Tourelles is situated on the famous “Route des Vins” in the south of
the Burgundy wine region, the history of this Chateau dates back to the 11th
Century.
In summer, enjoy a swim in the outdoor pool which is open from June to September.
Other outdoor pursuits available include a trampoline, cycling, croquet, boules
and local golf courses.
An excellent fixed price "Table d'Hôtes" menu is offered, based on the regional
cuisine of Burgundy. House wines are included with the set meal but there is
also a wine list featuring fine local and international wines.
Finally, enjoy an organised trip to the chateau's vineyard which is located
close to the Château and where Pinot Noir, Gamay and Chardonnay grapes grow.
Follow this with a visit to the local winery where grapes are made into Macon
Villages, Bourgogne Aligoté and Bourgogne Rouge. |
