Chateau de Roumégouse is located in the Lot region of France, near the towns of
Rocamadour and Gramat.
The Château has a total of 15 rooms including 2 suites. Each room has been
individually decorated by owner Luce Lainé with antiques and objects d'art. All
the rooms from the smallest to the largest have its own special charm.
The grounds are comprised of a beautiful 12 acre park and a large swimming pool.
Additionally, there is a cozy library with books in many different languages. A
gourmet restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, is presided over by
owner-chef Jean Louis Lainé. The restaurant is open everyday for dinner, except
Tuesday. Lunch is served on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only.
The Château and restaurant have been a true labor of love for the proprietors,
Luce et Jean Louis Lainé, for the past twenty years.
The Terrace of the Chateau with a beautiful view facing the Causse of Rocamadour
is used during the summer months to serve Lunch and diner. The stars, candle
lights, soft music, flowers are part of the scenery.
Guests at the Château are welcomed more into an elegant home than an impersonal
hotel. |

Restaurant is open only
for lunch on Sundays. Closed on Tuesday nights, except
on July, August and holidays. We will advise about the
best tables close by, from the simplest to the more
refined.
The price for the room and the half board is for 2
people with free access to the menu.
Every room is fit with bathroom, toilets, TV, hair dryer,
mini-bar, direct phone.
Pool, park, terrace, games- All with air conditioning.
One meal per day is recommended. In July, August and
holidays, half board is compulsory. |
