The perfect couple one could say is the Chateau du Viguier du Roy and the
restaurant La Dinée du Viguier, which although part of the chateau, is under
separate management. The chateau is absolutely magnificent, a 4,000 m2 property
dating as far back as the XIIth century, in the heart of Figeac. The building
was acquired by Mme. Secordel-Martin in the late eighties when she and her
husband mover here from Paris. It took them three years to restore the place or
rather say transform it into a luxury hotel without changing any part of the
original structure. Every room is as it was, the walls, columns and part of the
flooring remain the same. Everything has been beautifully decorated with the
excellent taste of Madame Secordel and fitted with modern high quality materials
such as silk tapestries, marble bathrooms, etc. Each room is different, all are
extremely spacious and with large comfortable bathrooms. Is worthwhile
mentioning about this hotel, that having been already five years from the time
they opened the hotel by the time we visited the chateau, the feeling in every
room and specially the bathrooms was of being the first guest to ever be there.
The restaurant should be awarded the stars that some others do not deserve... |

Deposit |

A deposit is required to guarantee your
reservation. This deposit corresponds to 50 % of the total
amount of your stay, and it will be deduced from the final
invoice.
For it, you have the choice to send us a check, a postal
order or to leave us your credit card details (Amex, Visa,
and Master) with its expiry date and the cryptogram. (The
credit card used, will be require at your arrival by the
receptionist, to secure the payment.)
Of course, as soon as the deposit is received, we will send
you a receipt. |

Cancellation |

In case of a cancellation and according to measures planned in
the French civil code, (Article 1590) any deposit paid as
guarantee remains definitively acquired!
Nevertheless, by courtesy, during one year, we shall keep these
payments, so that you can use them during the next overnight
stay in our castle of the Viguier du Roy |

No Show |

In a case of a no show, and if
you didn’t give us some news, your stay will be totally canceled
and it will be charged.
Any deposit paid as guarantee remains definitively acquired,
according to measures planned in the article 1590 of the French
civil code.

The rooms are available from 4pm, on the day of your arrival.
The rooms must be released by 11.30 am on the departing day.
Anyone staying after this time will have an extra night charged.
