Chateau de Verrieres is situeated in Saumur "The Pearl" of Anjou. It is one of
the most beautiful, quiet, historical and human sized town, located in the Loire
Valley, between Tours and Angers. Chateau de Verrieres is an in-town chateau. It
constitutes an exceptional site, combining the merits of open and green space
together with the town facilities, being located in the centre of Saumur. This
Chateau keeps its sumptuous original decorative features, its stables and its
four acres park "à l'anglaise".
Chateau de Verrieres is the ideal stay for discovering the chateaux de la Loire
and this region, particularly rich of historic, architectural and natural sites.
The harmony between Nature and Man's edifices is such that it has been listed as
World Heritage by Unesco.
