Chateau de la Vallée Bleue situated on the George Sand tour, at the heart of
the Vallée Noire in Berry, this chateau combines the charm of the ancient manor
house.
In this ancient property of Docteur Pestel, one of George Sand's doctors, the 10
acres English style grounds offers a wide range of possibilities : two swimming
pools (one of which is for children), a bowling pitch, golf practice, orchard,
mountain biking with suggestions of routes.
In the gastronomic restaurant, the head chef proposes regional and seasonal
products. During Spring and Summer, the meals are served on one of the terraces
and during the Autumn, you can have supper by candlelight near the fireplace and
inevitably, with a Chopin background music.
This three-star hotel proposes 13 rooms and two suites (among which 3 rooms
situated in the annex with direct access to the grounds). Some of the best rooms
on the first floor have a view on the village and the Saint-Chartier château,
some others have a view on the backgrounds and the swimming pool. Finally, an
exhaustive wine list is offered. |
