The Château is surrounded by extensive and tranquil grounds, including a large front lawn, rose-beds and flower-gardens, a potager in the medieval style, and recreational areas around the pool for croquet, badminton, etc.
All guests are free to enjoy the tranquil grounds of the Château; to boat and fish in the moat, to use the swimming pool, play badminton, croquet, ping-pong, boules at the castle. Golf, tennis, windsurfing and horse riding are all very nearby. Or feel free just to relax and absorb the calming sense of history which pervades the Château.
There are a number of good restaurants in the vicinity, and the owners of Tennessus are very happy to offer advice on the best places to eat, local specialities, etc
