Chateau des Reynats at only a few minutes from the centre of Perigueux, the
capital of Fois Gras. The Chateau des Reynats and its Orangerie, were completely
renovated in 1991. The chateau is run by the Chiorozas, this is a couple who had
one of the most acclaimed restaurants in Perigueux, who accepted a very tempting
proposal from the owner of the Chateau des Reynats, to move the restaurant into
the chateau and take care as well of the administration of the hotel part.
Monsieur Regis Chiorozas is as always, the chef in charge of his restaurant like
when he was downtown, and his lovely wife Brigitte looks after the hotel.
Chateau des Reynats is a nineteenth century chateau set on quite extensive park
grounds of its own, where the rooms, the swimming pool, the tennis court, the
wonderful restaurant and the location, being so near to so many interesting
sites if the Perigord region, such as: Lascaux, the Dordogne valley, Brantome
and many more, guarantee a very pleasant stay. |
