an outstanding view of the Loire and surrounding forests from the centenary
wooded park features rooms decorated with tapestries and antiques, sunny terrace,
a swimming pool on the grounds, and refined traditional cuisine.
The owners are charming and provide a wealth of information not only about the
area but wine as well. .Jean Pierre Marty, the owner, is quite an expert. He is
a vintner as well as "Lord of the Manor". And his family is delightful. The
village of Langeais is only a hour or so from Paris via TGV, and day trips are
comfortable and easy. Finally, this is truly a cosy spot in Loire châteaux
country. |
