Château de Valmousse is located at 20 Kms. from Aix en Provence, this Chateau is
composed of a castle surrounded by dependencies and a vast 60 acre park through
which meanders the Marseilles Canal. This historic site, where calm and serenity
dominate, offers an unusual variety of landscapes where lawns and prairies,
forest and garrigue alternate.
On the first floor of the castle, 6 entirely renovated rooms await their guests
in an atmosphere of comfort and peacefulness. Adjoining to the Castle's
Courtyard, Pavilion of Valmousse is beautiful recently renovated house. With its
XIXth Century’s magnificent greenhouse that prolongs it, it can accommodate up
8/10 people on 180m2.
Guests of the Valmousse Estate can explore the grounds, cycle through the alleys
shaded by the centuries-old plane trees; meet a heron, ducks and pheasants
living in the wild. They also can take advantage of the two pools. The small one
is embellished by a fountain; the large one (400 m2) allows younger children to
play safely in the shallow end while the elder can swim in the deeper end. |

Description of Pavillon de Valmousse
Adjoining to the Castle's Courtyard, Pavilion of
Valmousse is a beautiful recently renovated house. With
its XIXe centurie's magnificent greenhouse that prolongs
it, it can accommodate 9 people on 180m2. Facing living
room and kitchen, Pavilion of Valmousse provides a
private garden where takes place the greenhouse which
can be used as a winter's dining room or as a playroom.
Ground floor :
Living room-dining room, fireplace, TV-VCR, stereo,
kitchen (dishwasher, oven, cook top stove, washer, micro
wave). Cellar-storage.
First floor: 1 room with a queen size bed, 2
