It is a 16th century chateau with a moat around it and many
vineyards surrounding the property. In the heart of Burgundy, 3 kms from Beaune
the Germain family warmly welcomes you to their home, Chateau de Chorey. This
listed, historic, elegant chateau displays several architectural styles, typical
of the Burgundian buildings from the 13 and 17th centuries. Completely restored
and redecorated in 2007 it comprises three large rooms and 2 family suites, (4
people) each one given the name of a Premier Cru vineyard.
You may like to take a stroll and relax in our beautiful gardens among the 100
year old trees which surround the chateau. There you will also find a dove cot
and the 13th century moat as well as the Clos du Chateau vineyards, the grapes
from which produce our Bourgogne Pinot Noir. |
