Chateau de Brelidy is a 16th century castle surrounded by woods, private lake and
streams, has ten beautifully decorated bedrooms. The charming English-speaking
hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Langlet are passionate about the history of this lovingly-restored
chateau and the surrounding area. Mrs. Langlet's attention to detail provides a
wonderfully atmospheric feeling with lit candles and a warm fire to welcome
guests after a days outing. Dinner is served to guests in the lovely dining room;
approximate range 25 to 31 euros. Activities include trout fishing in the lake,
walking and hiking and visit to cultural sites in the region. In order to relive
a bit of castle's history for the duration of a quiet stay, the Château de
Brélidy offers 9 charming rooms and a refinely decorated suite with cosy lounges,
billiards and a library.
Stroll through the 86-acre grounds where you can see deer, herons and
dragonflies - an ideal base from which to explore Brittany, especially the Pink
Granite coast and Isle of Bréhat. |
