Chateau de Bournel Golf Hotel located in an 80 ha. landscaped garden dedicated
to golfers thanks to a 18-hole course.
Chateau de Bournel Golf Hotel was created in 1991. The Hotel is built within the
old courtyard buildings of Bournel Castle.
Château de Bournel from the 18th Century welcomes golfers and holiday visitors
to 16 luxuriously fitted guestrooms, delicious gourmet food. This is a property
with lots of tradition and it has belonged to the same family for five centuries.
Thirty kilometres south east of Vesoul, the course is set in the grounds of the
old château. Reminiscent of an English parkland course, it is gently sloping
with lakes and falling watercourses and the generous fairways are bordered by
centuries old trees.
Chateau de Bournel Golf Hotel course is a hilly course. In the 80 hectares of
the English Style Park, surrounding the Chateau, The French architect, Robert
Berthet has designed an 18-hole course drawing upon century old trees,
descending watercourses and natural contours. |
