The Boucéel estate dates back to the beginning of the 12th
century. It was awarded by Richard III duke of Normandy to the Pigace family.
The present château, built in 1763, is still a family home, for many generations,
recently opened to guests. The large and spacious bedrooms have renovated with
great care and are named after family members who have lived here. Period
antiques and family portraits on the walls. Bathrooms are fine and modern. From
the bedrooms you can see the ponds, the park and surrounding nature. It is
located in Normandy nearby Brittany, in the Mont Saint Michel Bay, close to the
Mount and its Abbey ” La Merveille”, on the road of the pilgrims who were going
there.
The proprietors, Mme and M. Roquefeuil, are the incarnation of hospitality,
offering a wonderful breakfast, travel advice, restaurant recommendations. They
make you feel very special. Never do you feel like you're in an inn or hotel.
You truly feel that you are guests in the de Roquefeuil home. A special treat is
