Hotel L'Atalaya is at the top of the Pyrenees in the small village of LLo with
thirteen rooms all fit with modern comfort. Each decorated different with the
refined taste, of its owner, Mme. Toussaint. The owners of Hotel l’Atalaya, are
both enchanting people, he speaks such good English that you could swear he is
from England.
The Hotel is composed of two buildings, the main one is found to
the right upon reaching the village, and the newer one, to the left, beneath
where you will be parking your car. All rooms face the mountain and village and
enjoy a wonderful view, even of Spain, which is less than 10 miles away! Rooms
eleven through thirteen which are extremely nice, are in the newer building
where also the pool, naturally, is open only in summer because the Hotel is
situated at 1,450 meters high.
On the ground floor of the main building is the
restaurant, with an inviting cozy bar and a drawing room with a piano, where if
you are lucky, you may have the pleasure of listening to Mme. Toussaint play,
she is really wonderful! |
